I knew
Your flower blooms
Known by your friends
No square cut-outs
with double clicks for hearts
But I knew
and yet I
I noticed
How you slanted
Relaxing your side
Pouring pleasantries
Inviting conversation
To ease my knotted heart
funny me
I understood
Comprehending facts
A story of two
Of a host and a guest
Provider of comfort
Seeker of warmth
but still I
I clings
To the spread of warmth
Spring freshness
Claiming for attention
In desperation
but I knew
it is wrong
I dreamt
a fantasy of you and me
momentarily forgetting
the flower by your side
growing painfully
and that I'm beaten
because I know
you're not mine to hold
