Barren Soil

I walked in my garden one day
I saw you next to the roses
You stood limped, dry
Your fallen leaves burned into ashes.

I walked in my garden one day
I saw the gardener dug you out
"It's marvellous, " she says
Our time is up and now you want out.

I walked in garden today
I saw you glistening bright under the sunlight
You laughed as you greet people
You swayed as the wind blows.

I walked in a garden today
I saw you. I see you.
Rosy cheeks, happily growing
in her garden today.
